We are more than half way through the pregnancy now! I say “we”, but obviously my wife Lesley shares most of this experience. The past 25 weeks have flown by! Soon we’ll be taking care of three babies at home and it will seem like no time has passed at all. A lot has happened since my last post about finding out their genders. I had a very special friend as a child and that was my favorite Care Bear, “Friend Bear”. He (yes, my Friend Bear was a He) went everywhere and did everything with me. I’m not sure exactly when Friend Bear and I were introduced. I was born in 1982 and he a year later. If I had to guess, my mother probably brought him home to me sometime in ’83 or ’84. I had several other Care Bears as well; Lucky, Sunshine, Tender-Heart, & Grumpy, but I developed a special attachment to Friend Bear.

It’s two girls and a boy! The two identical babies are girls and our single fraternal baby is a boy. These results are not guaranteed to be 100% accurate at this time but from the looks of the ultrasound, this was the nurse’s conclusion. Lesley and I are very excited and have already picked out names.
